Global Africa Network completes inaugural film project

Global Africa Network, in partnership with Matt Reid Film and Television, recently completed two films about the ground breaking agriculture project in Kwara State, Nigeria. The films were commissioned by the State Government and depict the story of the New Nigerian Farmers brought from Zimbabwe in 2005 to kick-start commercial agriculture in Kwara. Six years on the 13 farms now include the biggest Cassava farm in West Africa and fully integrated poultry and dairy farms complete with processing factories.

One film takes the form of a 40 minute 'BBC style' documentary on the project. The second is a 12 minute shorter film aimed at the international investment community to promote further commercial opportunities that now exist in the sector as a result of the initiative.
