In May 2010, the launch issue of TradeInvest Kwara was published on behalf of the Kwara State Government in Nigeria. The publication provides well-researched coverage of the state’s business and investment environment, supporting infrastructure, investment incentives, key economic sectors, commercial success stories and specific investment opportunities available in the region.
Of particular interest is the ‘New Nigerian Farmers’ initiative which saw Zimbabwean farmers relocate to Nigeria where they are spearheading an agrarian revolution in Kwara. Other special features profile a South African investor who now runs a successful furniture-manufacturing business in Kwara; and the visionary Asa Dam Conference Centre and Resort multi-purpose development.
